阆中：中国春节的发源地，四大古城之一，贡院科举博物馆
阆中，地理优越、环境宜人；历史厚重、人文璀璨。是中国四大古城之一，素有＂阆苑仙境，风水宝地＂之美誉。其三面环水，四面环山，水在山中，城在水中，尽显钟灵毓秀之气。阆中古城有张飞庙、永安寺、五滕王阁、观音寺、巴巴寺、大佛寺、川北道贡院等8处全国重点文物保护单位；有邵家湾墓群、文笔塔、石室观摩崖造像、雷神洞摩崖造像、牛王洞摩崖造像、红四方面军总政治部旧址、华光楼等22处省级文物保护单位。是一座拥有2300年历史的名副其实的古城。
清朝初年，阆中曾作为四川省会长达20余年，所以此处设有清代的四川贡院。
所谓贡院，就是科举时代给皇帝选拔和输送人才的场所。阆中贡院，又称川北道贡院、四川贡院，现已建为科举博物馆，有相关科举考试的展览及应试考场复原陈列场景等。
除贡院外，还有汉桓侯祠、中天楼、华光楼等文物古迹。当然，我们今天要聊的主角还是贡院科举博物馆；顺便聊聊，我们在阆中的有趣见闻。

从贡院大门前庭进入院内的第一门，上有龙门二字
贡院，科举时代士子们应考的场所。清顺治初年，阆中为四川省省会二十年，故在此设置了四川贡院，共举行了五科乡试。时光更迭，如今的贡院系川北道合黎学锦重修。2000年增修，是全国保存最为完好的一座清代乡试考棚，国保单位，也是全国罕见的科举文化体验胜地。

华光楼：省级文物保护单位
华光楼始建于唐代的华光楼也叫“古镇江楼”，现在的华光楼为清代建造，是阆中古城区的标志性建筑。登楼远眺，可以俯瞰古城风貌。华光楼为木质结构，楼梯陡峭，只能单人通行，登楼的时候会有声音，更显古老庄严。
