8月3日上午，区政府副区长、区公安局党委书记、局长袁昌德率队深入基层，看望慰问一线民警、事业编警务人员和辅警，送去区局党委的亲切关怀和慰问，并为他们送去防暑降温慰问品。

昌德副区长先后来到交巡警支队云枫大队和云枫派出所，听取了交巡警在高温天气下的交通保畅、勤务安排、后勤保障等情况，详细询问了派出所值班备勤、装备配备、巡逻防控、社区走访和近期重点工作落实情况，并与民警、事业编警务人员和辅警一一握手。
昌德副区长指出，近期开州迎来连续高温天气，全体民警、事业编警务人员和辅警战高温、斗酷暑，坚守岗位、忠诚履职、连续作战，为全区社会稳定作出了重要贡献，充分体现出开州公安强烈的使命担当和过硬的铁军品质。
昌德副区长强调，要提高政治站位，结合当前疫情防控工作，继续保持高昂斗志，忠诚履职，紧密结合“我为群众办实事”，继续抓好防风险、保安全、护稳定、促发展、疫情防控、防汛抗旱等各项工作，坚决确保全区大局安全稳定。
