南部经济开发区主导产业为机械、建材、食品、医药，规划面积1327.6公顷，核准面积为482.05公顷，四至范围为：区块一至五东至天鼓岭村，南至白登观村，西至S101，北至白桥村；区块六东至S101，南至松云洞村，西至向阳村，北至蜀北大道。
