金溪镇位于蓬安县北部的嘉陵江畔，又名斜溪镇，始建于南北朝时期，地处蓬安、营山、仪陇、南部四县交界处，，距县城区14公里，幅员面积75.76平方千米，场镇面积1平方公里。自然地理条件优越，交通便捷，水资源丰富。金溪航电枢纽工程、沈家坝村、金溪白酒、森宝家俱、临江港湾休闲山庄亦赋予了金溪镇浓厚的乡村气息和更时尚的发展底蕴，金溪镇也将抓住这些优势，加快新农村建设步伐，努力打造和谐金溪、富裕金溪。
