今年九月，嘉陵区这所新迁建的最大的农村学校，即将开学！

据当地老百姓介绍，李渡镇小学是一所百年老校，学校现有学生2000余人，由于原校区校舍年久失修，且学校四周民房林立，全校出口只有一个3米左右的通道，存在严重的消防安全隐患。李渡小学搬迁至新校区后，这里将由新成立的李渡幼儿园（公立）接管，该园今年秋季已招生。

小编在嘉陵区李渡镇小学迁建施工现场看到，第一期工程已全部结束，二期工程（运动场及校园绿化工程）施工单位正夜以继日紧张作业，现场热火朝天，一片繁忙景象。学校A、B两栋教学综合楼、食堂、教师宿舍、地下车库等工程已全面完工，等待验收投入使用。该校领导透露，今年9月开学全部班级将搬迁至新校区，旧校区会被改造成李渡幼儿园（公立），目前已招生的李渡幼儿园将会在新校区上课一学期，等旧校区会被改造完毕后迁回。

新校区二期工程正在加紧建设中
据悉，为了启动李渡镇小学避险迁建工程（新校区），嘉陵区委、区政府投入资金5000多万元，新学校占地48亩，建成教室49间，可提供2700个学位。
