【同治】《营山县志》（共三十卷）『有缺』卷1清翁道均修，熊毓藩等纂。翁道均，福建侯官县（今福州市）人，同治九年（1870）署营山县知县。熊毓藩，湖北黄冈县人，翁道均之友。
翁道均《序》曰：“营虽僻壤，在唐固相如郡也，文献之邦，而纪载缺如，非惟都人士之羞，抑司土者之责也。毅欲倡修，议甫决而宪檄适至，乃即先年旧志，设局试廨，延邑名宿于其中，而加之润色焉。其旧志所未悉者，则另为确访增入，一以友人熊君渭樵终始其事。繁者汰之，缺者补之，疑似者核之，凡三阅月而工竣。书既成，诸君子谦不自功，征序于余，余日：余何力之有哉。凡皆尽其不得已之心也。方斯役之始事也，物议纷纭，余讵不知其烦难，而顾毅然不摇者，国家慎择牧守，惠养黎元，而州县不能事事通上德而类下情，是谓不职。故余虽不敏，而苟有缺，然为之不遗余力。”盖翁道均往任后，急索县乘而观之，然而经历一百二十余年之后，县署中所存旧志已残缺不全了。他便与县教谕张运春(四川华阳县廪贡生)、训导张慎修(四川彭山县举人)以及本县举人蔡文钰、蔡抡科等人商议重修县志，众人极力赞助，翁氏便延请其友熊毓藩总领其事，设局开修，是年便辑而成书付梓。殆及光绪十五年(1889)，本县廪膳生刘域学等儒学生员复补修再印行。
此志分十门五十二目附三目，约20万字，记事较详，但部分门类编排散乱，如艺文、人物等。艺文门约5万余字，大量编入清代后期的诗文，如知县濮文升，邑举人于鼎培、拔贡白萼联等人的著述。其中濮文升《重修营山县城碑记》、《重修骆市桥碑记》等文较具史料价值。武备、人物中详细记述了明末清初张献忠率农民起义军攻战营山等川中城池战争史实，嘉庆初白莲教起义军攻打县境，本县防御堵截;咸丰、同治年间李永和、蓝大顺率农民义军围攻营山城等重要农民革命战争史实，价值较高。并附录了县人历次战役中阵亡死伤人员名册数百人。山川古迹、市镇津梁、关隘祠寺等门类中之记载亦有一定价值，记且详。
