2月15日，春光明媚，正值元宵佳节，在四川省南充市仪陇县新政镇的汉巴南铁路仪陇段的巴岩店特大桥施工现场，一片热火朝天的施工场景。据现场施工负责人介绍，为了加快工程进度，工人正月初八陆续返岗。目前该项目完成40%工程量，预计今年4月中旬竣工。
据悉，深入南充、巴中腹地的汉巴南铁路，设计时速250公里，线路途经南充市顺庆区、蓬安县、南部县、仪陇县、巴中市恩阳区、巴州区、经开区，正线全长约148公里，建成后将带动川东北、川陕革命老区融入全国高铁网，计划2024年建成通车。

汉巴南铁路贯通川陕革命老区和秦巴山区，线路建成后对推动沿线经济建设、完善成渝地区城际铁路网和发展红色生态旅游业等方面具有重要的现实意义。
